‹DIY› I knitted till my eyes hurt: got to the point where I need to change the yarn in a beanie and I am uncertain which technique should I follow, but I signed up for a class, so on Wednesday I’ll be smarter and can confidently continue. Plus I started (again) a circle scarf in the hope that I can achieve a better size and boyfriend will wear it.

‹MOVIES› Though I was in front of the screen the whole day there was not so much value in the things I watched to be honest. Again, screen-time today was more like knitting-time and anything I watched was for the background entertainment. I watched a new rom-com People We Meet on Vacation (which is a When Harry met Sally rip-off), As Good As It Gets (ok, this is a classic and still great and this scene always cracks me up), John Wick 3 (I have no clue why I started re-watching, but haven’t finished it) and I switched to the John Wick-series: The Continental. It clearly wasn’t for me, the colouring of the movie, and the fact again that I recognised Hungarian apartmant buildings threw me off. (The series was mostly in Budapest).

‹BOOKS› Though I mostly enjoyed the day I felt guilty for not reading, so I pushed myself late in the evening to read a bit: I lasted 25 pages until the sentences blurred into each other in Patti Smith’s memoir, Bread of Angels (my fault, not Patti’s. I was exhausted).
